Gail Ramsey has been named Director of Communications of The Winston Law Firm, LLC. Prior to joining The Winston Firm, Ms. Ramsey was a seasoned paralegal and media relations specialist with 20+ years’ combined experience as a paralegal and PR representative for law firms and non-profit law-related organizations. She was instrumental in securing media placement of high-profile case stories in both print and on television. Adept at conducting client research, developing large-scale presentations for use in litigation and promoting special events, Ms. Ramsey holds a MA in Communication and a BA in Justice.

Ms. Ramsey began her professional career as litigation paralegal for top-tier law firms like Jones Day in Washington, D.C., and Morgan Lewis and Reed Smith in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She coordinated courtroom presentations and collaborated with attorneys to create communications strategies for trials. Ms. Ramsey also managed large document-intensive cases, coordinated multi-state discovery and supervised staff on complex commercial litigation matters. Ms. Ramsey has written articles and essays on tragedy, justice and trials -- topics she knows well, both personally and professionally. She was the liaison between reporters, lawyers and victims in a high-profile case that involved the death of her youngest sister in a catastrophic tragedy. As a seasoned litigation paralegal and media specialist, Ms. Ramsey managed media relations, discovery, interviews, publicity and strategic crisis communications planning over the course of the litigation.
